I Just Love This Car

Of course, not as much as my 5 year old twin granddaughters, subbing in for Daddy who's in Iraq.

It's a two hour drive from my boy's place, mostly highway and back roads, just came back. Love driving the GS, hardly no one on the road, XM tunes on, cup of WaWa high test, just a scootin' down the road, seems like I could drive forever. Even though when I pull in the driveway at home, I almost wish I had another 2-3 hours to drive.

And I'm sitting here writing this when I should have hit the sack, damn coffee.

Did I tell you how much I love this car?

I know exactly what you mean. Today, we're going over to the western shore to attend Deb's sister's 50th b-day party. It's a 2+ hour drive over there to Prince Frederick. With the awesome forecast, I insisted on "taking the most comfortable car we have, that get's the best gas mileage". Luckily, that happens to be the Vette! I love the long highway rides with some back roads thrown in, and when I pull into the driveway tonight, I'll be regretting that the ride is over.
I have always said that I could drive this car to California and back, smiling the whole way, without a problem!

Hey Dean, that's exactly what we're planning to do at the end of July, drive to the left coast and see the sights in between.

I think my next Vette may be a GS with a A6 transmission. My C5 is modded to hell and a hot rod with a 6 speed. I may go a little more laid back next time. Something that Mrs Cozmo can drive sometime.

I hear you, gave up my stick cars some time ago, would not drive anything but an auto know, I guess my age is showing.
